On National Maritime Day TIDA arrives in Peniche!
Through music, videography and literature, the show Maré invites the public to embark on a journey through different fishing communities in the country, in a tribute to the life and work of fishermen. Preceded by a corner workshop.
The show will take place at the Central Auditorium – CCI, at 9:30 pm, as a conclusion to the 𝗗𝗶𝗮 𝗡𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗼 𝗠𝗮𝗿 celebration, on November 16th. It will be free to enter, but limited to the existing space, in an organization of the Peniche City Council, the Mútua dos Pescadores, Mútua de Seguros, C.R.L.and Stray Sounds.

Ana Pêgo’s exhibition opens next Friday at CIAB – Atouguia da Baleia Interpretive Center
𝘗𝘭𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘶𝘴 𝘮𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘶𝘴 is the scientific name of an exotic marine species that has proliferated in all the world’s oceans and beaches. It is an invasive species, well adapted to all environments, which represents a great threat to native biological communities and, consequently, to human beings. In this exhibition, you can see specimens of this species that have washed up on beaches across our country.
